This waffle iron replaces one that I got as a gift. I misplaced the one I was gifted with this one and was entertaining a guest that was particularly fond of waffles. This appliance made the best waffles my guest ever had and no sticking anywhere on the iron. I wish I had bought sooner!

The waffle maker is small, lightweight and heats very quickly. However, the plates are not removable or reversible. Therefore they can not be washed and the appliance can not be used to make grilled sandwiches.

I’ve wanted to get a classic waffle maker, instead of the thick Belgian style. This is a good size and the right thickness. The hinge is a little wobbly and seems flimsy….time will tell.

This waffle iron does a good job. I replaced my 50 year old heavy duty waffle iron that I loved. While this does not have the heft of my old model, it heated up quickly and produced a good waffle.
