This is my third of the same model so you know I'm a fan; it makes a great waffle.
The first model lasted twenty years, then the heater wore out; the second one I dropped and cracked (that's on me); this new one is ligher than the original model (if lifting things or arthritic hands are an issue for you, you might appreciate that).
My only complaint is that this model, unlike the previous models doesn't seem to *click* when the "done" green light comes on.

Reliably great - as my original one of these was. I had that original for MANY years & only replaced it because there was just enough built up of oil & crumbs that it was a little less fun to use. That original was passed onto someone who I'm sure will derive pleasure continuing to use it. Meanwhile, I'm loving my brand new one.

Pretty pleased with this waffle maker. There was no sticking, and having a choice for desired doneness was a perk. There's a lot of play in the lid that could (and should) be addressed. I see no practical reason why Cuisinart would have a lid this loose. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to.
