For the price and size, waffle maker does its job. I have limited storage space so this fit the bill. Heats up quickly and lets you know (with a green light) when your waffle is done based on the level or darkness you select from 1-5.

The only good thing about this waffle maker is that it heats up fast. It will burn the waffle on the heat setting of 3 or 4 so you have to pay attention. Also, not impressed with quite a lot of batter pouring out (and I didn’t use much more than recommended amount) after putting the lid down. The waffle doesn’t cook evenly either. The back part of the waffle is thinner than the front. Bypass this unit.

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your waffle maker. For best results, we recommend using the suggested batter amount, monitoring the heat setting, and allowing the waffle to cook fully before opening the lid to help ensure even cooking. If you continue to experience issues, please contact Cuisinart Customer Service at 1-800-726-0190 for assistance — we’re happy to help.

Excellent product , disappointed about design. ONLY makes skinny Winnie waffles that are thinner than a punny Crepes

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Round Classic Waffle Maker—we’re glad to hear you found the product quality strong, though we’re sorry the waffle thickness did not meet your expectations. This model is designed to create classic-style waffles, and results can sometimes vary based on batter consistency, fill amount, and allowing the waffle to fully cook without pressing the lid down. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, as customer feedback is invaluable in helping us improve future models.

Disappointing even at the price point.

Produces waffles that are raw on the edges which quickly changes to a burned ring. The very center was pretty good. Intended for counter-top use, it gets hot enough on the outside to quickly inflict 3rd degree burns when inadvertently brushed. You'd be better off making pancakes.

I Love making all sorts of Different Chaffles in our Waffle Iron!! It's the Best!!! A Chaffle is 1 Egg, 1.5 oz Shredded Cheese, & a splash of Vanilla Extract... A Perfect Blueberry Chaffle is 1 Egg, 2 oz Smashed Blueberries, 1.5 oz Shredded Cheese, & a splash of Coconut Extract... Yummy!!!

Works fine if you like soft soggy waffles very disappointed! The top lid doesn't sit snuggly on the bottom and has to be adjusted everytime a waffle is made.

This is a really great little device. Saves me a lot of time since it's easy for my kids to make waffles themselves, and it saves me a lot of money spent on frozen waffles. Excellent value for the price.
