Very disapointed with this waffle maker, bottom grill is twise as hot as the top grill, burns the bottom before the top is done.

The only thing that is preventing a 5 star rating is the uneven browning of waffle batter. Hopefully it will get better after break in.

I do not care for Belgian waffles so I really had to shop around for a "normal" waffle maker and this one is perfect! It had the features I wanted at an irresistible price. I am very happy with it---just don't use more than 1/2 cup batter or you will have a mess on your hands. I like some crispness to my waffle so I use the setting 5.

I'm very happy that the cooking level is adjustable, but it doesn't cook the waffle evenly. Plus, the lid is pretty flimsy. I hope it holds up over time.
