This has always been our favorite waffle maker since you can no longer find the style with the waffle iron on one side and the griddle on the other got grilled cheese sandwiches (old school unit). Our old Classic waffle iron gave up the ghost and we wanted another one, but they were in short supply, so waited until general availability was back on. And, we were not disappointed. Straight out of the box - perfect waffles!! And, neither oof us really care for Belgian style waffles, so this classic model is perfect for us.

Decided to start making my own waffles and save some $$ and went with Cuisinart. Once I figured out how much mix to apply it was super easy to get great tasting (and looking) waffles each and every time. The maintenance on this waffle maker is about as simple as you can get with almost no cleaning required. I'd say it is almost foolproof! Well worth the purchase.
