I bought this to replace a very old waffle maker that was horribly sticky and took forever to cook the waffles. This Cuisinart waffle maker is like a dream comparatively, cooks waffles quickly, let's you know when they're ready and no sticking at all. Would definitely buy again.

This is a simple yet perfect waffle iron. It heats up fast and can be adjusted to whatever crispness you like. We make perfect waffles on Setting 4. When the light turns green we have crispy, perfect waffles.

The waffle maker is easy to use but does not seem to brown completely evenly. It is not so bad that I would send it back. If it were another type of item I would just turn the waffle over mid cooking, but that won't work in this case. Our old waffle maker was purchased 55 yrs ago and still works. We just wanted a newer modlel.

This waffle iron works really well. It's difficult to find a waffle iron that doesn't Belgium style waffles. I had this same iron for nearly 20 years before it broke and was happy to find it again. I make several waffles at a time and freeze them. It's very economical, I just wish Cuisinart made a regular waffle the makes multiple at a time. I recommend this item for anyone looking for a regular waffle maker that will make everything from soft and fluffy to dark and crispy.
