This waffle maker cooks the waffles to a perfectly even color. I gave it 3 stars because it’s difficult to clean since the plates aren’t removable. An even bigger problem is the strong chemical smell from the nonstick surface. Even after using it a half dozen times the odor hasn’t dissipated.

This is a replacement for my 14 year old Cusinart waffle maker. Size is perfect.
I especially like the nutty wheat waffle recipe. A half recipe is perfect for two people. I use pecan meal in place of chopped nuts. Works great!

Would feel better if the brown level adjuster was more secure. That adjuster broke on my previous Cuisinart waffle iron.

I made waffles on the new Cuisinart waffle maker. Sadly the top grill was faulty. It baked a very spotty waffle. I made three waffles thinking the grill will get better but it produced that same spotty waffle. The bottom grill worked great. We took it back and have another one. Have been afraid to use it for fear it'd be the same problem!!!!! Going back and forth to the store during this COVID time is NOT fun!
