Was looking for an inexpensive but functional waffle maker for my wife and me. Had tried another brand but it didn’t heat enough to brown the waffles.
Bought this model to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised when it not only cooked a nice, crispy waffle but also the green light actually was accurate in indicating when the waffle was done.
This model is perfect for 1 or 2 persons. Bigger families would probably want something more sophisticated.

Waffle maker makes nice waffles, with setting number 3 being about right in color and doneness. I had a little trouble getting the right mixture thickness so the maker would fill up and cook on top without running out the sides of the maker.
My real disappointment is to the quality. The handle that sets the color is so loose that you never know where #3 really is. You have to move it back and forth between 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 until it feels about centered.
I asked if there was a repair I could make but have not received an answer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
