Doesn’t seem up to expected Cuisinart standard

Seems to work okay. Slightly disappointed upon unboxing, it seems flimsy, the lid is very loose and wiggly, as is the control lever.

This is an amazing little waffle maker that is extremely easy to use & makes waffles very quickly. I bought two of them ~ one for my home up North & one for our beach condo. Perfect for yourself or as a gift .

Has the essential features of adjustable temperature (slider is very loose but works) and indicator light that switches from red to green when up to temperature or waffle is done. Plug it in to pre-heat when you start making the batter to ensure even cooking. Don't use spray or anything else on the non-stick plates. Stands stably on handles for compact storage.
