It browns waffles nicely. I was a bit disappointed that the waffles were not as thick as the ones made in my old waffle iron. But the silver lining is that they reheat much better in my toaster. Also easy upright storage.

Based on first use, works as it should but construction quality is less than satisfactory. The top is wobbly on its hinge and the temperature adjustment slider is loose, as if a screw wasn't fully tightened, leaving the exact setting uncertain.
