The top seemed very loose and wiggle it back-and-forth waffle iron itself works fine but that was not well put together also the slide button for the amount of brown you want is not secure

There is a lot of play in the doneness setting lever. Never sure where exactly it is set. But somewhere between 2 and 4 we assume. And the "heavy" top isn't that heavy so the bottom side gets much more done than the top
