The waffle maker worked great. The waffles cooked evenly and released from the waffle maker easily. I do wish the plates were removable for washing. That is why it did not receive 5 stars.

Makes lovely evenly cooked waffles easily and that it can stand up for storage is a great feature, however I go with a previous review that mentioned how the slide to set the cook time is loose and doesn't make a stop at which number you are at, you just have to figure that you are under the correct cooking number more or less which would be an easy fix, as the other reviewer mentioned. Still, I love the machine and the overall feel of it, well-designed as well as making great waffles.
