Roborock Has Exceeded My Expectations

I purchased my Roborock vacuum about five months ago, and I’ve been very happy with it. It performs exactly as expected—cleaning efficiently, navigating well, and saving me a lot of time. Overall, it’s been a great investment and I would definitely recommend it.

I give this system a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
Pros:
No more pet hair tangles. I'm not having to unjam the main brush daily due to pet hair being caught in the rollers.
No fighting with clean/dirty water with the Refill & drainage System!
The AI does extra on dirty places identifed.

cons:
This system seems to have taken a step backwards on the AI auto detect system. With its ability to lift itself up a some it now trys to do weird stuff. I have some desks with extended horitzontial legs. The robot loves to high center itself on it. I had to setup no go zones so I don't have to save the it daily. My previous version would just bump and move on. This one oohh no it goes I can get over it, and quickly hi-centers itself and screams for help. It also does this with my office chair too, it loves to get stuck instead of just Identifying a chair like the previous version and just avoiding it.. Its AI needs some love.

If the lighting is poor or extra shadowed it will run over dog accidents and smear it around. While the previous version would do this sometimes. This one has a higher frequency of doing it. I'm guessing its cause the AI thinks its extra dirty and/or its an obstical it can get over and then smushes the mess. Again the AI needs some love.

The Best of the Best!!

I liked both the Saros 10 and 10R. But when it comes to mopping the 10R does a superior job. One key feature is how the 10R can extend its mop along the wall to get into the crevice and edge of the walls and also around the feet of furniture. I have 3 golden retrievers so the ability to pick up hair is important.
The Soros 10 did great job in the main areas but there was a ¼” gap you could visibly see where it missed the dirt along the walls. And if there was hair stuck partially underneath the legs of a piece of furniture, the side brush of the Saros10 couldn’t pull it out if it. I’d have to pick up the stool or piece of furniture and remove it with my hands. Whereas the 10R in vacuum/mop mode will extend the mop and pull the hair out and have it virtually removed!
I am kept the Saros 10R and am extremely happy with the product. In the past 10 years I’ve always went with iRobot’s products. I have the iRobot S9+ (and many of their older models) and was looking to upgrade to a robot that both vacuums and mops. I was looking at iRobot’s top of the line products and almost purchased their top of the line unit. But after looking extensively at various models it became apparent that the reason your products are more expensive is because they are truly the top of the line products. The anti-detangle feature of the main brushes was the reason I initially went with the Saros. And they are great! Not even your bench tests would have matched what the Saros had to start with!

Great robo mop

I have 2 of these robot mops, one on each floor and I love them. It is very easy and convenient to clean my floor. I love the extendable brooch and the mop head as it reach into hard reachable spots for a spotless clean.

A Very Impressive RoboVac!

We received the Roborock Saros 10R robot vacuum a couple weeks ago. Set it up and let it go. It cleans and mops our wood and tile floors just fine! So far no issues - we love it! It’s quiet. It’s very low to the floor so it gets under our furniture without any problems. I like the fact that we can custom name each room, then use the app to select which rooms we want to clean and Rocky will go there. I wish we were able to do a voice command to clean a particular custom-named room, but cannot… Yet. What surprising to me are the 1 and 2-Star Reviews on this Robovac. I don’t see how anybody could be disappointed or unhappy with it. In summary, we are very happy to purchase this Saros 10R Robo vacuum — definitely the best Robo vac we’ve owned!
