S25 Phone is alright, Battery is absolutely awful

I upgraded from an S24 I owned for barely a year who's battery life was about half a day and would heat up intensely when charging with any appropriate charger I could try, only to find that the S25 is virtually the same phone but now with a flat edge! Phone works identically, battery life is unimpressive at best and while not nearly as hot as the S24, it does warm up since the very first charge and with anything short of a plug in fast charger, it will not gain any battery life if the device is in use during charger i.e. with a wireless charger. Next device will sadly be a change to a new manufacturer I'm sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It gets everything that matters right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually like the new physical design a lot more than I thought I would. The slight reduction in size and noticeable weight reduction make it much more manageable in the hand, and makes overall usability so much better than previous ultras. I really like the Galaxy AI features it provides too. They're actually genuinely useful tools. I especially enjoy the Now Brief giving me info on my calendar, weather, and other suggestions for my day. Its really nice just to get all that info in one place. I really enjoy the SPen, it's really the main reason I got this phone. Taking handwritten notes across samsung notes and calendar have become staples in how I organize my time and information. I personally don't mind the loss of Bluetooth S Pen, but I understand how some might. One UI 7 has been wonderful as well. No complaints whatsoever.
