I primarily got this for the camera and it didn't disappoint. Our vacation pics are amazing. The biggest difference from last phones is in how big the 'aperture' seems to be. It lets in a lot of light and even faces under shade turn out bright. The performance is on par with a flagship. The screen is great even compared to some of the other OLEDs I've seen. Battery life is nothing to write home about. The biggest cons are the useless onscreen fingerprint sensor and the unwieldy size. I got it for my wife who absolutely didn't want to switch from a 7yr old phone due to the size. So, I ended up taking it on.
I did have an issue with trying to use usb to copy & paste from phone to a usb. I did try more than one cord for that. Also, phone right after setup said I could only make emergency calls. My old S22 Ultra also did that occasionally. The S25 Ultra does seem to take better pictures indoors - makes pictures brighter than S22 Ultra, which is a good thing.
The Samsung Ultra S25 replaces my former museum piece an S10. The difference is stunning. The new phone is capable of handling online research while I’m in the field as well as maintaining a 5G connection. The quality of the sound is amazing and the photos are crystal clear. The only thing I really have to adjust to is the increase in overall size. A small thing when compared to the better overall quality.
