Bought this game on launch and I really enjoyed it. I owned MK8 on the original switch and enjoyed that as well. I think that the graphics and game play are better and harder in MKW compared to MK8.
I'd recommend getting it if you're a Mario Kart fan.

Honestly, not rage baiting when I write this, this game is exactly what everyone expected it to be before launch. Not that its bad, but maybe just underwhelming. The graphics, while impressive upon first booting the game, are getting harder and harder to differentiate between World and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Maybe that just means we were truly blessed with kart 8, but i'd like to still feel like this game was a leap forward, which it hasn't been.Honestly half the time I play I'm trying to find the small differences that make me feel like "yes this was worth my investment" but unfortunately, I'm still waiting on that moment.
I got the bundle, I think that's the only way you should get this game. I wouldn't pay full price for it and surely wouldn't recommend anyone need to buy it at this price. If you have Kart 8 Deluxe, you are much better off.

Worst $120 you’ll ever spend. Same or worse than Mario kart 8. Even worse being the opening game for the switch 2. Huge disappointment

The game could easily have been on older systems so the price is no where close to be worth it. Graphic wise, way behind. Sound effects, same old same old. Most parents agree they will not be paying this much for nintendo games anymore.

Not worth the money. Nintendo messed up with releasing this game with the new switch 2. It feels no different that playing mario kart 8 deluxe
