Be careful and dont smash your fingers

Good addition to a home gym.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a versatile piece of home fitness equipment. I love that you can use it as a barbell, kettlebell, and weight bar. The transition is a little clunky, but worth the trade off of having less equipment. Like to work out at home rather than going to the gym so I see myself using this often.

Disappointing but may be beneficial for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a set of these adjustable dumbbells so I was excited to try these out. The cool thing about these is that you can change weight by just flipping a switch, making it simple to change exercises and means less clutter in whatever room your home gym resides. I didn’t realize that this was not actually a set of two adjustable dumbbells, but a “set” consisting of one dumbbell that can be converted into a barbell or a kettlebell. One dumbbell is not a helpful addition to my home gym, and I have next to no use for a kettlebell, but I thought the fact that there was a barbell included might be a redeeming factor. I was wrong. Setting up the barbell was not really all that simple and during setup I was made aware that this was flimsy and potentially dangerous equipment. Besides that is the fact that I’d never have more that 40lbs on this bar. I squat 60 and deadlift 130. As you can see in the photo, I never got the bar set up, realizing half way through that I would never use it. All of that said, this could be great for a beginner in fitness, but it would not be long before they would want that second dumbbell.

Space-Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never owned a set of weights before, mostly because they usually take up a large amount of space. Not this one! It’s easy to use. A little awkward sometimes with its length if you only have several pounds on it but using the other attachment it comes with works better with certain movements.
