Don't buy - noisy and support was unhelpful

Extremely unhappy with the noises and the lack of support. Noises range from a persistent high-pitch to times when it sounds like the compressor is laboring. Put in three service requests. The first time, a tech adjusted the fan which is placed too close to the wall, and said it was a common problem despite being a new fridge. After the 3rd request, Midea said all the noises were normal for the product and they'd provide no additional service. Trying to work directly with Midea put us outside the 90 day window to return it. So thanks for nothing Midea. Have zero confidence that the fridge will last the two years that the warranty provides. Hoping it dies sooner so it's not a complete loss. Will likely buy a better product and try and sell this locally to recoup whatever costs I can.
Support was initially promising but fell way short and ultimately was useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

Bought the Midea brand refrigerator for the first time a few mmonths ago and we are very happy with the product. Their warrantly is better than other competing brands and the price was also very competitive. The appliance has been working as expected. Highly recommended.

Reliable and Spacious: The Perfect Garage-Ready Re

In my experience, the MRT21D3BST refrigerator has been a great addition to our home. The 21 cu. ft. of storage provides plenty of space for both fresh and frozen foods, making it easy to keep everything organized.
The garage-ready feature is a real game-changer. I've used it in our garage, where temperatures can fluctuate quite a bit, and it has maintained stable cooling without any issues. It’s reassuring to know it performs consistently even in temperatures ranging from 38ᵒ to 110ᵒ F.
The automatic defrost function in the freezer is another major perk. It saves so much time compared to manually defrosting, and I haven’t had to deal with any ice buildup, which keeps the freezer running smoothly.
Overall, I’ve been very happy with the MRT21D3BST. It’s a reliable, spacious, and convenient refrigerator that works perfectly for our needs, both in the kitchen and the garage.
I would recommend this to a friend!
