Don’t know why people buy these

I bought this a week ago. I never owned a Stanley, just never needed to. So I had surgery and needed a water cup. This cup stays somewhat cold for a few hours, but will NOT keep ice in it for more than an hour or two. It wasn’t expensive, but it definitely doesn’t do what it advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaks

I got this cup a month or so ago and I do not like how when I leave it in my car and or nightstand, the water seems to leak out the top thru the straw part. Like the pressure pulls the water from the cup out of the flip spout even when closed. Fills my cupholder with water while I am in the store. And my nightstand was full of water because of it too. I thought since it would suction the water out in my car that maybe it was because it was warm, but it still did it in the house in normal temperature.

Absolutely LOVE this! It is for my 5 year old who is in kindergarten, but he does do an afterschool program as well so with it being 90-100 degrees in CA the last month, I wanted his water to stay cold all day. I had to get the 30oz because I personalized it and the 20oz was out of stock. It’s a little big but he can still carry it and he loves it! Plus we love the two tone color!

Not Aesthetically Pleasing

I know this seems pretty nitpicky but, when the cup is sealed tight, the spout and the logo do not align. A small detail that drives me insane and probably would others too. Otherwise, satisfied.

Don’t buy ! The bottom circle comes off the bottom ! Only had for a couple months . Not worth it at all !
