I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I’ve forgotten it in the car and the ice water was still “icy cold with ice cubes” the next day - keep in mind it was left in a hot car all day and overnight and midday the next day when I got in the car and sipped from it; surprised it was still just as cold as I left it!

Painful to open the lid

I purchased two of these products in June, but I had an issue opening the lid to drink the water. I tried for 3 months to use this before I started talking with them. Stanley said it is normal to be hard to open for prevent leaking, but as it is so hard to open, I need to leave it open to be able to use. Once it is closed, it is like a full lock and It is very hard to reopen. My question is it normal to have to be painful to use a Stanley locking the lid?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
