I bought this a month ago to take to work as my daily water bottle. I would fill it about a quarter way with ice and then to the fill line with water on my way out the door. By the time I left to go home the ice was all gone and before bedtime the water was room temp.
I have 2 other Stanley cups, both with the regular "Flowstate" lid and normal straw and both of them keep ice all day and water cold until the next morning. My big 40 oz one usually still has a tiny bit of ice after nearly 24 hours.
I don't see/know any difference besides the lid so I don't know why this flip straw one won't keep water cold but it doesn't. If I hadn't thrown out the box it came in I would have returned it to be honest.
