I really like this Stanley tumbler. My previous tumbler from another company was very top heavy and it frequently fell over. This one doesn’t do that. It also fits quite well in my car cupholder. It keeps drinks cold for a long time and ice will last till the next day. The price was very reasonable.
So I’m a Hydro girly, but I love the gold trim both came out with this season but hydro sold out of the ones I wanted. I decided to switch back to Stanley while my color was in stock. I will say that the Stanley holds my ice way better. I believe it’s cause it has a bulky insulated lid versus the HydroJug which is a see-through clear aesthetically pleasing lid, causing hydro to not hold ice as well. Both the Stanley and Hydro keep my drinks cold but Stanley wins if you want more ice. I actually prefer mine not so ice cold so i just put less ice in the Stanley now. For me hydro wins on the lid cause it’s prettier and i like to see my drink more than i want it so insulated lol. I’ve dropped both my Stanley and my Hydro jug cup. I will say the Stanley is more heavy duty. It didn’t leave a scratch. It has some kind of matte coating that protects it a little better than the hydro so definitely can handle a few scratches. So Stanley wins on being able to take a few falls in the dug out. If you like to put soda in your drink hydro wins everytime I opened my Stanley right out of my bag it would shoot out going everywhere even my white uniform so I no longer use it for anything but water due to even having a lot of leaks with my tea if the straw isn’t pushed all the way down it pours. Works better for dark drinks like ice coffee, soda and tea. Also you can’t take the Stanley apart on the lid or see through it to see if there is mold between the straw and idk I don’t like that part. If you are a girl who loves a cute cup hydro is for you with the cute clear lid, if you have are a guy I think Stanley look wise is better with the ugly bulky lid.
