Molds everywhere...

Jump to the conclusion, It is hard to clean, impossible if you don't buy specific cleaning accessories. Used this for half a year, molds EVERYWHERE
The details: Since I bought it, I clean it thoroughly every month and almost always only hold water with it, sometimes water + soda. Around the third week I received it, I found mold by the corners of the flip lid and on the rubber on the lid. I used an electric tooth brush, those that viberates, to clean it, still can't get to the bottom of it but because it is impossible to pull the rubber out and stuff it back, I stopped when it's visibly clean. Same thing happens every months until yesterday I found molds inside the water bottle by the screw marks where you spin your lid in. I was concerned, therefore i dissembled the whole thing, only to find out after the toothbrush cleaning, boiling water washing and hand washing, there're still molds inside the transparent straw itself, passed down by the flip straw on the lid.
After looking into it with flash light, i found molds ALL OVER, covering the entire inside wall of the flip straw. It is absolutely disgusting, and i don't know how long i have been drinking those molds. It is so not noticeable because you can barely see the inside of the flip straw even with flash lights, and who will think of cleaning somewhere you never thought molds could occur? I mean this is a water bottle, why do I even have to think how many parts i need to clean? Never ever had this problem with any other "simple" water bottles. The designers really should take this into account instead of advertising how cold this can keep water. To have a nice cold water, you first should trust your water bottle enough to drink it. Pure pure disappointment.

Only good part is it's big enough and it didn't break down after I drop it a few times...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love Stanley because of their extremely high quality, performance and durability. I love to get them customized with the kids name as they use them for school and they love the fact that ice lasts up to 3 days. This is a great product and I would personally not shop any other brand for water bottles. There are the best!
