Cover of mug so so mug great! cold for two days.

I was gifted this mug earlier this year. Summer has come in and I am using it every day. Keeps ice unmelted for better than twenty four hours. So drink is cold still. Today has presented a problem. The mug slipped out if my hand and hut the floor.tye lid cracked and pieces broke oof. Why was this part so breakable. It shattered. Fur a product bring costly I feel it should not have been so fragile.
