It's beautiful but not functional

The cup is beautiful love the bright pink color! I am very disappointed with the ability to hold ice. I put ice and water in the cup and the ice melts within an hour. I even tried to put in the freezer first thinking maybe the cup wasn't cold enough... did not make a difference.. I feel like I paid a lot of money and I am disappointed. I would not buy another Stanley cup.
