It’s cool. But I saw that there are reports of lead in the cup. Is that true? Am I gonna get lead poisoning?

I don’t normally write reviews but I have one complaint . I’ve never struggled so hard to unscrew a lid. It’s everytime I go to refill my drink, I can’t seem to unscrew it and I don’t put the lid on tight. I’ve owned several different kinds of drink bottles but never had a problem like that. You would think with this Stanley popularity that more people would be talking about the pain of just simply taking off the lid to refill your drink. Other than that, I think it’s a good average cup. I don’t really get the hype too much though, it’s just like when the hydro flask blew up because it was a trend and died back down. They will always come out with something new to hop on the trend.

After purchasing 2 -40 oz in January we have stopped drinking from them due to lead being reported as part of the construction. It’s concerning.

It chipped the first day. Was washing it and it tipped over on the counter and chipped, would have thought it would have been more durable.

I like the cup a lot. I’ve had the same hydroflask for ten years so I was a hard sell on trying something new. I don’t feel like it keeps things as cold or keeps the ice as advertised. It’ll last the day, but the 2-3 days thing is definitely a stretch. I love the color of mine but it was scratched as soon as it touched my car keys once. It doesn’t bother me at all, but just be aware of that if you’re in it for the aesthetic. Love the handle and the straw is great quality. I’d probably buy another one if I could get the color I like! I would love a Chiefs red one with black or white accents, but the valentines one wasn’t for me with the pink on it. Worth the money for sure. I definitely drink more water now and I like that it fits in the cup holder instead of rolling around my floorboards like my old water bottle did.
