I bought this Stanley yesterday because I always forget to drink water and I wanted a water bottle to keep with me so I can remember to stay hydrated, but also wanted something that’s good quality. I made my decision to get a Stanley, and mind you I’m a very clumsy person. I’ve dropped the Stanley twice on hard tile and no dents, no paint chipped, nothing. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I put ice in it and it melted within the hour which is definitely not the 2 days they promised it’d last so that’s one con but other than that, it seems great. It also doesn’t leak at all, only time it’ll spill water is from the straw.

I wish the Stanley cups had a better sipping option. I get straw fatigue, but the sipping option on the lid leaves water remaining on top of the lid after I pull it away from my mouth. I also use pebble ice and it slips right through the opening too. It took me some time to adjust to how large the cup is. Once I did, I became obsessed. It’s really great for running errands. I can leave the house for several hours without having to refill. Taking it to the gym or work is unreasonable for me because it’s so large.

Handle fell off

The first time my daughter dropped the Stanley less than a 2 ft drop the handle fell off completely. It appears to have not been secured on properly during manufacturing. Thankfully it still works and no scratches, but I was extremely concerned about how easy that fell off.
I have several other Stanley’s that have been dropped numerous times without and significant damage

Nice but color doesn’t hold up in dishwasher.

These cups are very attractive and do keep drinks cold BUT for the amount of money you should be able to put them in the dishwasher and the color should maintain its original luster. Stick with their stainless if you care about that.

Maintains ice well

I have used several different tumblers. My main goal was to maintain my ice while I’m at work so I’m not having to add ice several times a day. I got a Stanley for Christmas and this is Day 1 of using it. I filled it with ice at 8am and it’s 8:10pm and still have quite a bit of ice left! I refilled my water at least 8 different times as well. Very pleased with this cup!
