Great tumbler for a day full of errands

Purchased this in Nectar and Silt. Great tumblers for a full day of running errands. Some reviews say they wobble, we have not experienced that. Some say it’s heavy, well, yeah, water has weight and this carries 40oz. I don’t find it too heavy. It’s not right or left handed specifically, you can just screw the lid on a different way. Straw is nice and sturdy. Colors are great. Easy to get my water in-take for the day & no longer have to bring multiple water cups or bottles with me. Will be purchasing more and as gifts.

So disappointed in the reduced quality

I’m so disappointed in Stanley and the influencers toting this cup as the best. I purchased one when they first were released, and I was immediately sold by the quality and function of the cup! Fast forward to the last release of them and I got another one in a different color because I loved my first one so much. Quality has PLUMMETED, it’s a joke how terrible the cup now is. Not only does the cup not keep ice for more than a few hours, the water doesn’t even stay cold. I wish I could rate zero stars. It’s sad to see a great product and company lower the quality now that these are so popular.

Buy two!

These cups are near-perfect! The only "flaw" is that they're not leak proof. The handle is such a great feature, and I love the straw. They got perfectly side-by-side in our vehicle's cupholders. Do yourself a favor and buy two per person in your family; you'll want a spare while one is in the dishwasher!

Beautiful cup, ABSOLUTELY AWFUL LID

I love this cup so much but why is the lid impossible to twist off? I’ve even given it to my husband and it’s just stuck. I’ve wedged knives under the lid and even tried to find a YouTube video. I just bought the sip spout lid that has a handle and I hope I can get this open at some point. It’s really messing with old tendinitis in my wrists.

Meh - cup scuffed on the first or second day
on July 27, 2022

Honestly, I was so excited and wanted to LOVE this so much! While I do like the cup a lot (straw and handle are great) there are def flaws! Note: I've only been using this for 5 days (which is way too early for my brand-new tumbler to look so warn from scuffing)
1. I got the nectar color - I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (so normal sized cup holders) and just from placing it in there it's scuffed and scratched. So that is very upsetting as it looks very used now.
2. The ice definitely does not last for 2 days - barely a day. The water does stay cold though
I had been refreshing the page to get a second color for other drinks but since mine scuffed around the bottom already from putting in a cup holder (which was a major selling point) - I am in NO hurry to ever purchase another. Maybe mine was a flawed tumbler who knows?

Good cup, but cheap straw
on July 28, 2022

I really do love this cup. It kept my water cold all night long, even without ice. But the straw is thin, cheap and terrible. It already started cracking at the bottom from the ice in my cup. There is no stopper at the bottom of the straw, so it can just fall right out. I would love a stainless steel straw instead.
There is one design flaw. The left handled cup. I do realize you can twist the lid on differently and hold it in your right hand.. great! But then the logo is facing you, so I'm talking in terms of aesthetics. My brain can't get over the fact that now my cup is "backwards". Most people are right handed, so I don't know why they did it this way. It bothers me but not enough to return.

Not sure about the cup craze.

I love my cup, except for the lid. I like that it screws on vs a rubber gasket(reduce brand). The lid has no close option. So if you take out the straw and turn it to the third position it’s only to prevent splashes. Tons of water/coffee will still pour out. I wish the third position somewhat sealed the holes. It does fit into my rav4 cup holder. Reduce 40oz did not!
