Disappointing Lid options

Received as a Christmas gift and the cup seems to be great. The lid is awful. Am I the only one to acknowledge that I'm an adult and I don't need a straw? Every lid has a straw opening = leaking. I can't even find one that is made out of their stainless steel? Anyone every hear about plastics in your drinks - this is one way it gets in there. Do you honestly think its safe because someone stated its BPA free? Come out with a push button, leak proof lid for adults Stanley!

My daughter and I love the Stanley brand 40 oz mugs. We bought white and black because we couldn't find the right Orange to match our School color. Then she fund one on sale from our t-shirt vendor. Seeing hers put me on the hunt took me 2 months but I finally found the color called watermelon red current offered in the neon color Safety Orange Collection. A must buy to keep beverages at your favorite temp.

handle fell off after a week of use. it got loose the second time i attempted to take off the lid and by the time i had been using it a week the handle completely snapped right off. i???ve had other stanley???s that have held up well, but this one for whatever reason must???ve been faulty.
