I recently purchased a new rice steamer of the same brand (Aroma) as the one our family has used since 2008, as house warming gift for my oldest daughter. My original steamer is still in use and I have no doubt the new one will be just as reliable. I don’t know how many thousands of pounds of rice we have cooked in the original and it still works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Teflon chips off.

I'm happy with this product but, not with the teflon bowl. The teflon started chipping off. no metal utensils were/are used. Have make white, brown rice and even cakes without complain. Willing to replace it with a stainless steel one if available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does what it says. I love the size and versatility of this cooker. I make different types of pilaf on a regular basis with this and it's never done me wrong.
