Under cooked first, way over cooked second time.

Followed instructions to a tee. First time rice was just undertone. Used it tonight and it seemed to take forever to cook. And now all we have is mush. Way over cooked. TOO over cooked to eat. Don't thunk I will use it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working suddenly

I bought this a month ago. It was working perfectly until it stopped working suddenly. It is not even turning on, thats really a bad experience.

6 C rice cooker

I used my ew rice cooker for the first time today. I washed the removable parts as instructed, one part of the vent silicone came off and I dont know how to put both pieces back in the venting hole. I put 1 in and cooked the rice, it took way longer than expected. Please advise with a picture.

Works Great Until You Lose A Part

This is my first rice cooker and so far I am very impressed. If you follow the directions and use the rice measuring cup your rice will come out perfect every time. Clean up is also very easy, however, I unscrewed the handle from the lid and somehow lost the screw that holds it together. I've searched online and can't find any info for replacement parts, so keep a close eye on all of the pieces.

Thank you for your question. This warning was added because the state of California recently added the chemical BPA to its Proposition 65 list. There have been recent articles raising concerns about BPA in consumer products. In such articles, the clear focus has been on the question of BPA migration into food and beverages consumed by humans. However, Proposition 65 requires the warning on all products that contain BPA, even at very low levels or in components that do not come into contact with food. BPA is common in plastics, and because some of our products may contain some level of BPA, the warning has been added to our products. However, Spectrum Brands continues to stand behind the safety and value of its products.
