So Happy with Our Hauslane Range Hood
on October 12, 2026

We didn't know how badly we needed a new range hood until we got this one. It has really changed how we work in the kitchen. We shopped around before we took this route. The range hoods on display in our local home improvement stores seemed cheap and flimsy. We couldn't bring ourselves to have any of them installed in our kitchen, even though our kitchen is anything but fancy. Sight unseen, and based on the positive reviews, we took a chance on the Hauslane. It was the right choice. The quality of the materials is far superior to anything we saw in person. I love the removable washable grill, both in appearance and in practicality. The hood surfaces are sturdy and easy to clean. And it looks fantastic!
Also, the lighting has made a surprising difference. The lights in our previous set-up illuminated the room but in retrospect did not allow for good visibility of the stove top. (The downside is that we had to find different lighting for the rest of the kitchen, but it worked out fine.) And then there's the most important benefit: that super-efficient exhaust fan. This fan is amazing! No longer do we have to shut doors to the rest of the house to avoid setting off the smoke detector. No longer do I suffer when I chop onions. After living with a totally ineffectual fan for years we've had to train ourselves to turn on the fan every time we use the stove, and it is so worth it. Let me say before I finish that we had a chance to interact with Hauslane's customer service and it is top notch. We are so impressed with the competence, professionalism and courtesy shown by the Hauslane people. This was all around the best choice for us.

Powerful fan great lights

The fan is legitimately powerful, pulling smoke and steam off the cooking area. The built in lights are actually useful at illuminating the cook top unlike other brands. The only negative is the display has malfunctioned. Fortunately, support is working to resolve this issue.

Great unit, install was pretty straight forward. An excellent upgrade from our old microwave unit that kept getting all greased up.

Best range hood I have owned. Tried deep frying, stir fry, boiling, saute and general stove top cooking. Glad I spent the extra money and got this very efficient range hood.
