Worth the extra $

We have tried stir frying and deep frying on our high btu burner gas range with the UC-PS18 range hood and we didn't smoke out the house or set the fire alarm off with our previous range hood. We don't have that problem anymore. I don't see the smoke and smell the strong odor. This is not your basic range hood. I've had a few regular vented range hoods and I'm happy I spent the difference and got this range hood.

Installation was straightforward, and the controls are simple and intuitive to use day to day. The build quality feels solid, and it looks great under the cabinet clean, modern design that fits well in the kitchen. Overall, this has been a great addition to my kitchen setup. Works exactly as advertised, and I’d buy it again.

Bought this about 3 years ago. Has been working great until a problem with a noisy fan. Hauslane sent me replacement parts for free even though it was past the warrantee

Finally got this installed after removing our over the range microwave which only circulates air, doesn't remove cooking orders and grease. So glad we found this unit. Great power, easy clean grease trap, great light. Very pleased with our purchase.

Powerful exhaust

I bought this about two months ago, and it has been very effective. It's a powerful exhaust hood that removes most of the cooking odors, and overall I'm very happy with the purchase. My only minor complaint is that it extends out a bit farther than I'd like, which increases the chances of bumping my head.
I would recommend this to a friend!
