Love the Hood but poor 3 x 10 rear vent design

Love the unit, but the 3 x 10 damper for rear exusting is a very poor design. Whenever the fan is turned above the 2nd notch the damper has a loud rattle sound that is comming from the hinge ends and loose gromets. When contacting the dervice department they would not allow me to speak with a technition without sending a video of the problem. My unit is vented directly from the back to the outside. My outside vent cap has its own 3 x 10 hinged damper. The outside damper is only about 5 to 6 inches from the unit damper. Still trying to deside if rhe unit damper can just be removed or replaced with a 3 x 10 better desigb.

Great Suction, Easy to Clean

I installed this about a month ago, and it has been a great upgrade to my kitchen. The suction power is much stronger than my previous range hood, and it is very easy to keep clean. I like that there are six settings to adjust the fan speed. Installation was not difficult, and the unit looks great with other stainless appliances in my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Warranty - Would recommend

Have had this for two years and here is the following:
Pros: Easy to clean, Looks good, moves air , Can dishwasher the grease traps. Good Warranty claim process.
Cons: Time isn't accurate have to reset it every month. LCD screen light burnt out however Hauslane was quick to handle it through a Warranty Claim.
Verdict: Would buy again. Suggestion to Hauslane is to make one with just buttons. I get the appeal of a LCD screen but buttons would be nice as well.

Nice looking compact hood

We've had this hood for a few years and have been happy with it. It looks nice, the fan and LED light push button features are great, and the fan speeds itself are effective in keeping our kitchen smelling odor free. The only reason why I'm taking off one star is because we've had an issue with the clock/time since we got it. We'll set it and it always goes slower within a few days, resulting in the time not being accurate. We seem to have a glitch which Hauslane is trying to help us fix. Other than this, no complaints!

We are very happy with our under cabinet range hood. It's very easy to clean, looks sleek, and is great for heavy-duty use. The suction works very well. The speed settings are excellent - the lowest setting works great for longer use. Overall, highly recommend.
