I would wish it had more hz but 165 is pretty good anyways.

Defective Product

The DisplayPort on this monitor refused to work. It worked via HDMI (capped to 144hz though), but the DP had no input signal. My PC worked with my previous MSI monitor on DP too. Gsync will only work over DP since this monitor does not have HDMI 2.1, so it was essentially a complete deal breaker and I returned it. A quick google search shows that this line of Samsung products have been showing this defective DP issue for at least 2 years. Thank you to BestBuy for the speedy refund procedure.

Almost perfect!

The monitor is a really great gaming display for my needs. There's one drawback though, the stand is a bit bigger than I have expected. Of course, it's not exceptionnal for this size (27"), it have to be considered. To make it fit better on my desk, I will eventually buy an ajustable monitor stand.

Grey lines observed after a couple of months

Warranty policy with them is not good, random gray lines started to show up after 2 months of using it, also their tech support aren't really helpful and will charge you labor/transportation cost for it if they do not see anything at fault, which is clearly there are issues on it running on 144hz, does not run on 165hz on hdmi. gray lines started to show up while on 144hz. felt like the representative I got is lying as he won't give out any names of the service center they have in Canada. Its NOT good, if you're buying the same specs, buy the LG one. bought 1 of each and LG still does it better.

monitor ain't good, warranty policy is not good too, after 2 months, my monitor keeps showing up random gray tear lines at 144hz. used different computer and the tear always shows up at 144hz, had to settle to 120hz for the tear to disappear, no point trying to buy a 165hz where it will be limited to 120hz. not good

monitor broke showing up random tear screen, enabled everything on vsync and any kind of update and driver reinstall, nothing fixed it. warranty is so not good. totally not recommending buying samsung monitors nowadays.
