[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family absolutely loves this game and the “tiles” version of it, did not disappoint. The quick play version was so much fun and I loved how there was an ability to win the game even at the last minute. The tiles and tile holder were well constructed. The colors were bright on each tile and there were even different shapes on the tiles to signify the four colors for players that are color blind. The phase cards had a new variety of phases outside of the usual ten that the original game offered making the game even more thought provoking. The quick play version used the number cards as a way to keep score instead of having to write it on paper. These same cards were then used to keep track of what phase a player is trying to complete which is helpful for those who forget. The tiles came packaged in paper pouches that had to be ripped open to play. Once opened, the pouches were trash and there was nothing to store the tiles in. One suggestion would be to include a bag or resealable pouch to store the tiles and prevent them from getting lost. Another item that I was disappointed about not being included was a score pad. Overall, this game is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone loving any other versions of Phase 10.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phase 10 Tiles is a fun game to play. My family has never played before. We started with the classic rules. It did take us a few to read through the directions, but that didn’t discourage us. The blue rack (for others not to be able to see your tiles) is very useful. The wild tiles help fill in the gaps of what you need on the phase you are on. The skip tiles add a little twist to the game by providing an opportunity to change someone’s flow of their game. There is also a quick play version if you are short on time. We have already played 4 times in the last week. It is now our go-to family game!
