Great machine, havent had much time to work on it yet, but did a test run, stitches look great. I have an older serger from 1997. Has a million miles on it. Just doesnt do cover stitch. Cant wait to put the new one tru its paces.....

I bought this machine about 7-8 years ago. It took a little bit to learn how the machine operates but it was so very worth it. I currently have a Baby Lock Triumph but that is only due to the air threading and if a thread breaks you didn’t have to rethread the entire machine. Other than that i think this singer Serger takes the cake on it’s beautiful seams and the knife cuts like butter giving your finished edge that sleek look. If they made this machine in an air threaded model i would so buy it again. I really dread using my baby lock bc it just doesn’t come out nearly as clean and smooth. Lesson learned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have looked over this and compared it to so many other sergers that I would not get any other. I am a HUGE BROTHER's Supporter and I am willing to have another Singer in my sew room. I have had my other singer for over 27 years. I have used it up.

I was hoping that my young daughter and I would/could learn together but this machine is NOT newbie friendly. I'm assuming you must be experienced in understanding how to operate/thread this model. Disappointed that even with an open mind and trial & error we wasn't able to use this machine. We are going to invest in one that won't take a way the joy that should happen in fun projects.......this one just created stress
Works well. Took me a minute to get situated since I have never used a serger, but once I got it that was it😁. I am satisfied with my seems and will continue to get the most out of it.
