I love this machine. I have been taking pilate reformer classes for the past three years and decided I needed a machine at home. I was looking for a machine that was comparable to the studio machine, with out the high cost. This machine was more expensive than others, but well worth the price. The machine has a very smooth glide to it and I'm glad it has springs instead of cords. It's a beautiful piece of exercise equipment, the wood on it is gorgeous. It's very heavy, sturdy, and high quality, I feel I will get many years of use from it. It's a pleasure doing my pilates on this machine. Love it!

I bought this for core strengthening. It works pretty well but there’s already been a couple of set backs. The pulley sets are plastic, keep popping out of the metal part and have to be replaced. Also, the track seems to be off a bit cuz the carriage wheels are shredding and there’s a slight bump where the track meets. It was NOT that way the first few weeks but it is now so I know it’s not cuz we didn’t assemble it properly.

I have never done pilates before and my body has transformed in a very short period of time! I have back pain and sciatica from sitting at my desk job (I'm a mid-40's female) and this machine has taken the pain away! The videos are perfect for any fitness and age level. You are stretching while you tone. My hip flexors and hamstrings are no longer tight. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone (young, old, male or female). My 16 year old son and husband both use it every day as well! I never saw that one coming! LOL

I previously owned the AeroPilates reformer with the bungee cords. It was a very functional reformer and served my in-home clients well. I also own a professional Balanced Body Allegro I reformer. My first AeroPilates was a good second reformer to have for duet clients. Now that my in home business has grown, I wanted to purchase a comparable reformer to my Balanced Body reformer without spending a fortune. The AeroPilates ProXP557 was a good investment. With the springs, adjustable foot bar and professional design, I highly recommend this reformer and my clients love it as much as the Balanced Body reformer and so do I.

This was a Christmas present to myself! I love it. sleek design with solid features almost comparable to studio machines. Perhaps the pulleys are not as smooth as studio machines but minor given the price of the machine.

I received this reformer for a Christmas gift. I had been using a more basic model with cords and a not adjustable foot bar. It worked fine but this reformer is like driving a cadillac instead of a Kia! Both work but this one is so much smoother and more sturdy! Much quieter and I look forward to using it each day! I only wish there were more videos for Intermediate and Advanced levels! I would highly recommend this reformer! Great price per value!

I have been taking Pilates instructional classes with a reformer and really felt improved core strength and posture. I wanted to invest in a reformer as soon as possible because classes are so pricey. This reformer is very well made. Perfect for my amount of use, 3-4 times per week.
