Okay. It creeks on one side. Got the wrong part for one of the wooden ends. Waiting on the seller to resolve the issue with AeroPilates. It's taking a long time.

The 557c came very well packaged with all parts included. The instructions enabled me to assemble the machine in about 2.5 hours. It is a bit tricky getting the rails assembled with the holes aligned. There could be a suggestion in the instructions regarding the sequence of the bolts to connect the rails to make it easier, because there is a sequence to be learned.

This is a pretty well-built, reasonable to assemble reformer that functions quite well. I’d give 3.5 stars if I could. I’m 6’3” 195 and use it 3 times per week. If you do Pilates, notching compares to having a reformer at home. This machine definitely fits the bill. I’d give 4 stars for a steel frame ,seamlessly smooth wheels and upgraded strap pulleys. Everything else is fine. The rebounder is brilliant.

I purchased the PRO XP557 over a month ago and have used it everyday so far. I can't say enough about how much I love it. I purchased an older version of a Stamina Pilates machine nearly 10 years ago and liked it very much; however, I wanted an upgrade and liked the features of the PRO XP557. I love how quiet it is, I like the springs versus the cords, I love how high it sits off the floor (my former machine was a couple of inches off the floor), and I really like that the PRO XP557 is longer in length so both my husband and I can use it. The pad that you lay on is soft and plenty wide, and I really like the adjustable foot bar. I use it daily to various Stamina DVDs.
