It is an investment worth the money

Will it is life time investment!
My first commander lasted me more than 25Y of daily usage in harsh marine environments. After 25Y it is beaten, have some scratch on the lenses, rubber coats discoloration, battery compartment corrosion which is normal after some many years at sea, but it still shows me what I need to see. Yes I have cheaper ones in my boat which are doing ok, good for normal situations or kids but when I really want to check something like a radar target, light house, marker, buoy, number, shapes or other vessel's for safe passage, I only use my Steiner to make the right call, you will appreciate it in foggy days

My second commander arrived 3 weeks ago and looking forward to the unmatched clear vision and lighter weight as I am not getting any younger
Piece of advice always use the yellow strap and keep the batteries out during off season specially, in hot climate areas

Our Offshore Racing Club -SeaVentus has participated in all the most famous regattas in the world, such as:
Rolex Sydney Hobart Race, Rolex Fastnet Race, Rolex Middle Sea Race, Neport-Bermuda Race, Rolex China Sea Race and many others.
This year (2025) we took second place in the offshore race Aramex Dubai to Muscat Race.
Our club recommends Steiner binoculars! This is really high quality, it is nice to have such binoculars on your yacht.
