I've owned my binoculars for a while and have always loved them. I just recently sent them in to be looked at because the lens wasn't focusing. I got them back in about a week and they were like new again with no additional charge to me. Really great service and warranty and won't ever buy a different brand of optics!

I had wanted a set of Steiner binos since 1984 when I saw my first pair of Military-Marines in the storefront window in Aschaffenburg, Germany. I had been thinking about getting one recently after seeing one recently.
I appreciate the rubber armor and the durability that comes with that. The optics are phenomenal with crystal clarity. The movement is smooth like butter on the center axis hinge and when I set my diopter. The instructions are informative on how to set up the diopters for the user. I will enjoy this for many many years!

Friend of mine has had this exact model for nearly a decade and has been invaluable to him, bought it on his recommendation. I could not be happier.
These are lightweight with amazing glass quality. You can quickly glass large areas without having to mess with focus or magnification changes. For Elk hunting in the Uintas you are going to be hard pressed to find better binos for the price.
For a Porro prism binocular this is your guy; short of needing higher magnification or additional features such as integrated range finder or compass.
