first off the flip cover left microscratches on my phone where the plastic touches the glass. so much for gorilla glass v... when closed you can't see any notification details it just tells you to open the case. nor is there any option to allow details to be shown, major oversight imo. the flip cover does not stay closed and is quite the hindrance when you actually want to use the phone. lastly it fails to provide the much needed protection required of a phone with a glass front and back. 0/10 would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

nice combination with the note. it just feels sophisticated and plain right.
flexible in keeping from dust and accidental scratches to quickly see important notifications, answer or reject a call while closed. nicely done. it even charges wirelessly.
i just wish top and bottom to be a bit more sturdy, in case of a drop and bump-ring around camera a tad taller. other than that, excellent.

i am having a lot of problems with the s-view. instructions that came with it are too tiny to read. i can't find online help. very concerned about screen burn-in, and other issues. if i can't get help, i will return it.

this has been so great, i wasn't sure at first, but it grew on me quickly. one i like about it the most is the side view. you can see your notifications without opening the case, love that feature. if your phone is laying on the table and notifications comes through, no one can't really see it, be all in your business.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great case but...

i have had a samsung note phone starting with the note 3. am happy samsung is continuing the s-pen in s-series devices. that being said, this case is excellent but i've noticed that the top "slit" is a weak point in the case. it always seems to break. i'm not sure why it's even there but assume samsung has a purpose for it. i just wish this point was strengthened to not break at all.

I've had this case on my phone since I first bought it almost 4 years ago and I absolutely love it. I've dropped my phone no damage done. I like that I can see the notifications and time on the side clear spot. I'm looking for another sview case to replace mine now that it's worn down, but for almost 4 years it's great compared to other cases I've had.
