Terrible and awful

My new phone got screen burn in the shape of the clear part of the cover.
I’m not going to buy this cover type ever again.

Good, but missed the mark a bit

i like the look of this case. the ability to see notifications and the time is very convenient. interacting with the side screen works well.
while i liked the view of the entire screen on the s8 view cover, the slice of screen you see with this new cover is suffice and looks sharp. the construction seems better. i don't think i'll have to glue the plastic cover back on the case as i had to with the s8 view.
two downfalls: the front flap cannot be used as a stand like the old view cover. i'm not sure why they dropped this feature. also, i'm guessing the case materials cut down the strength of wireless charging. my charging mat only increased the note 75% over 9 hrs. my buds live can charge through power share with the case on, but no matter how i position it, my watch 3 cannot. not good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good feel

feels good in hand for a closed cover. hower i feel the whole flap thing is a bit outdated. makes me feel i should have suspenders to go with. a silicone cover with a low profile hinged side so the cover could fold completely to the back would be cool. i like that i can see itunes without opening the case.

i'll start off saying i love the look and feel of the phone very sleek and i like the feel of the material. it's also more lightweight and slimmer then normal.
however, i will miss the full seethrough front cover from s9+ case. i could live without that, but taking away the stand option has now rendered this case useless, that was one of the main reasons i had it. especially for phones as big as note 20 ultra, to not have the ability to put it on a stand is a huge miss. you'll offer this big screen and will be working with xbox to get game play, it would be nice to have a stand feature.

S-View case not what it used to be

i've had the s-view case on every note phone, since the note 3. this is the first time i've ever been disappointed. the s-view feature works fine, although i do miss the larger center screen of every other version of the s-view cover.
the bigger complaint with this newest version, is they've eliminated the stand feature! the note 20 ultra 5g is a large phone. great for watching videos / movies / streaming shows. which i do when i travel... a lot! i hate that i now have to hold my phone for as long as i feel like watching various content. super disappointing. samsung really took a step backward with this version.
