It works well with my Garmin computer and watch, unfortunately there is a problem integrating it with some other devices. Cannot really connect it with Concept 2 rower or Bowflex Max 6 Eliptical although Garmin HRM 200 works well with those devices. I bought HRM 600 thinking about swimming, didn't try it there yet, hopefully it works in a pool. If so it was worth it, if not or if you are not using it for swimming I would advice buying less expensive HRM 200 version
Wonderful battery life, comfortable and accurate...I use this chest strap Garmin HRM 600 for activities that are really long and/or bumpy and physical where a watch may not be permitted or isn't as accurate. I use this chest strap with my apple ultra watch and it works very well. I can set the battery on my watch into low power mode, turn off the cellular and wifi, and with the Garmin HRM 600 I can do a GPS recorded physical activity while listening to music for over 24 hours without charging either. Nice combo!
The HRM is great in terms of the accuracy of the device; however, I'm not a fan of the elastic band that the HRM goes on. What I'd rather see if Garmin can have a "sticky" patch rather than a band it would make it more comfortable
I upgraded from the OG Garmin HRM that I’ve had for almost 6 years and there are several features that are vast improvements. Primarily, being able to recharge the device as opposed to changing the battery. The enhanced recording features give me much more data and accurate data to see more specific schematics of my running in which I can improve my skills. The comfort is great just like my older model but being able to remove the device portion when charging and wash the strap makes prolonging its life that much easier. Very happy with the new advanced HRM 600!!
