I am very happy with this HRM. It works as advertised and interfaces easily with Garmin and Bluetooth. Also like the little material flap at the fastener hook site that keeps the hook mechanism off the skin. Nice added feature to be able to wash the band in the washing machine.
The belt is pretty dope. It’s comfortable to wear and it keeps accurate measurements of key metrics. I especially like the ability to leave my watch and record activities from the belt.
Purchased approximately a month ago to augment my Garmin Forerunner 945 - particularly with running dynamics and swimming information tracking. While this doesn't add significant value to the running data already producable from the wrist-based system, it opens up a lot of practical detail in the pool with the same hardware. Significantly better heartrate feedback. I wasn't aware that it can be used independently from the watch to record activities where you otherwise might not want a watch on (such as contact sports) - right now, that's where it truly shines and can inform an activity that was otherwise very generic at worst and basic at best. Overall, worth the investment. I've had predecessors of this heart strap and they last forever. Only major downside: buying new straps for the device - I wish I could find them!
I have been using this HRM for a few runs, some gym stuff, and yoga, and it's awesome. I really appreciate the rechargeable battery. I haven't used it to record an event yet, but what a sweet option in a "push comes to shove" situation. The battery doesn't last as long as previous models that use the c2025, but it'll last long enough. Seems legit, stoked to put it through the wringer and see how it holds up.
