False advertisement

Just put a new cartridge in and barely got 100 pages. I print in grayscale and ink saver mode. This printer has cost me more money in ink then the original price of the printer. I am reading that everyone is having the same issue with Brother ink cartridges and when they reply to your review they tell everyone the same thing. Page size, font size etc. BS Would give 0 stars if able. I will be getting rid of the Brother printer and purchasing another brand printer. And they never answer emails.

Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge.

Product is made to not last and it keeps you buying it, which in return is expensive!

using ing to clean

I just bought ink . I put it in my michine and iI went on a trip for three weeks I came back and I started to do some printing ansd a sign came on that said I was low in ink. . I remenber when I called the one I was talking to said that the michine cleans with the ink. . how do I stop it from using all my ink to clean?

Black ink cartridge

I have printed less 15 pages, now the pages are coming out like the cartridge is almost empty. Some of the words are hardly legible. I'm having to print in color.

There has to be something better

You don't even have to print anything to use up ink cartridges. Ink costs more than the printer.
