I Eat Better, Save $ and Avoid Office Microwave

Perfect for me. I make soup in our Crock every week, usually a big batch on the weekends. I don’t like to microwave things in plastic and our office’s microwave is always dirty. With my Lunch Crock, I store, transport, heat and eat out of the same thing! And I avoid the messy microwave.
I’ve given several as gifts and donated one to the office Christmas party. People were fighting over it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Where have these been all my working life? They warm up fast but gently. No burning no microwave heating. I have 4 and use 3 regularly. Buying more soon as gifts.

My daughter had wanted this electric lunch box for years....I was hesitant to spend the money thinking it would be problematic. I wasn't wrong. Once this thing heats up and the lid seals you can't get the lid off of the food container. You're holding a hot metal bowl with a lid that pulls up instead of turns and there's nothing to get your fingers under to pull with the amount of force you need to get the lid off. Yes, we relieved the pressure with the little valve. We literally broke the container lid trying to get it off. Prying doesn't work either because again, you have to hold a hot metal bowl to get any leverage. Can you please redesign the inner lid? Give it a real handle to pull on or make it twist off ?

We are genuinely sorry to hear about the challenges you have encountered with our electric lunch box, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. We understand the frustration you must feel. We apologize for the difficulty you have faced in removing the lid, even after relieving the pressure through the valve. Your suggestion to redesign the inner lid with a more user-friendly handle or a twist-off mechanism is duly noted.

This thing has saved me probably over thousand dollars over last year. It's great for heating up cans of soup or leftovers. When I bought this I was a little worried about the stainless steel liner, I figured it was going to be a royal pain to clean, but cleaning is extremely easy. I've used this product 6 days a week for a year now only problem I've had is the power cord the shielding is cracking where it goes into the pot
Pros: small easy cleaning
Cons: the power cord needs to be repositioned

I don't have access to microwave, so this is perfect for heating my lunch. It will do a can of thick chili in about an hour. Downside, if you can call it one, smelling the yummy food as it's warming.

I absolutely LOVE the lunch crock. It sits on my desk at work and I use it all the time through the cold months for lunches (soups, chilis, burritos (filling in the crock, add to tortillas), leftovers, etc). Sometimes I even use it twice a day for breakfast at my desk too (frozen egg/cheese/meat scrambles - they heat up perfectly in the lunch crock) so I had to order extra containers. Basically, anything you could heat up in a microwave can be put in the lunch crock. And it's always heated thoroughly and doesn't taste like it's been nuked like microwave food does. I find soups only need about 1-2 hours to fully heat up. I always have to turn it off when I get ready to eat the food because it keeps everything so hot. Only one "complaint" - wish it had an on/off switch so I don't have to crawl under my desk at work to plug it in and unplug it all the time. Otherwise, great product and I love it! I've bought a few more for friends and family. The lunch crocks are the perfect size and the handle makes it easy to carry if you want to take the entire unit back and forth. I really recommend this product for hot lunches!
Pros: perfect size, heats up quickly and evenly
Cons: no on/off switch on unit

I use this every day at work for my lunch. I leave the base at work and bring the food container with me in the morning, drop it in, and by lunch time have a nice hot lunch. Sure beats having to use the dirty microwave that everyone else uses! I've heated up soup, meatloaf, pasta, rice, chicken, and it all turns out great.
Cons: wish it had an on/off switch

I love the fact that I fill it in the morning before I go to work. Then when I get there all I have to do is plug it in and by lunch time I have a hot lunch.
Pros: a must have for every working person.
