Very cute item and warms perfectly... however, unfortunately All of that is not important if the thing leaks. The inner gray lid will not stay on and comes off when it is barely moved which means the food gets all over the place inside the container- and able to really use because the inner lid does not work. The lid is not broken and nothing is wrong with it it is just a poor design and it simply does not work. I read other reviews before purchasing this and I should have just not purchased I guess because there were other buyers that stated the same problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend removing the inner lid while it is warming, and only using it to transport your food. My husband works on the road for a utility company and his biggest complaint is that no matter how good the thermal may be, the food is just never warm enough when he goes to eat it. This crockpot is PERFECT! I purchased 2, one for me and one for him. It has a wall plug (goes into a socket) so for my husband we purchased a car adapter that has a socket outlet YES< THEY MAKE THOSE. This has allowed us both to continue eating healthy and he has not stopped for fast food in months now. We make crock pot meals every week and honestly, I spend so much more time enjoying my kids when I just throw a meal together. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. it has a TIN where the food goes and its so much easier to clean than a ceramic piece; the food slides right off. I finally got a hang of the flat cover, it was hard do understand it at first. The cover is very secure and its the perfect temperature; always ready to eat and HAS NEVER dried out my food. BEST PURCHASE EVER

I keep the pot in my office and take the liner back and forth. It heats up very quickly and is small enough to keep in my desk.
I have a second one at home to make oatmeal. I set it on a timer the night before and the oatmeal is ready for breakfast. Perfect and creamy every time.

I have had this pot for at least 5 years now, I use it almost everyday for work. So much nicer than standing in line for the microwave. Works great!

The instructions indicate to keep the inner lid on during heating, but the webpage says not to. If you keep the inner lid on, it will warp and won't seal in the future, even after cooling down. If you keep the inner lid off, condensation will drip out of the outer lid and your food may dry out. This item would work if they gave you one inner lid for heating and one for transporting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little pot but inner lid doesn't stay tight

Love it! Warms the food and it is ready by lunch time if I have it plugged in a couple hours before. I just wish the inner lid would stay tight. After using it once, the lid now doesn't stay tight and just sits on top of the inner container.

It's very small. We've only used them once. The inside of the metal pan has some discoloration.
