Bought this for my hubby, so he can have hot lunches in colder weather, he loves it. The lid fits snug, no leaking, and it heats up his lunch perfectly. So far he has taken soups, stew, chili and chicken alfredo, all heated up perfectly and I just wish there was a way to buy extra containers for it! The interior container washes up nicely by hand or in the dishwasher and the lid does not get warped in the dishwasher on the top rack like so many other plastic lids do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product, need better seal

We have a few of these, they work great. The only problem we have is after a bit of use the "seal" lid doesn't fit anymore.
We have always hand washed the metal.crock and both lids, so there's no reason they shouldn't fit properly.

Need to sell extra inserts

Buy the Lunch Crock!

I bought this 2 months ago because I work as a teacher at a startup school where there is no microwave. This changed the game for me. It fits in my lunchbox, I plug it in when school starts (9 AM) and it heats up by the time I'm ready for lunch (12 PM)! I have heated soup, water for Ramen, and now tortellini with pasta sauce and everything turns out perfectly. It heats to just the right temperature to eat out of but not too hot. Being able to remove the inner container to clean it is so convenient. I love this thing.

I bought this when we were in the middle of a cold snap so I could bring hot meals to work for lunch.
This works as promised, my meal was nice and hot. I did not have any problem removing the inside tin from the outer part due to it being too hot. If anything the stew was very hot.
My only complaint is with the instructions. I wish they would have noted approximate times this takes to heat up different dishes. I don't think I needed 3 hours for it to heat up the stew.
I would suggest a redesign of the inside lid. When I try to pull it off I am worried the bowl and lid will go flying.
Pros: easy to carry, easy to clean, heats quickly and thoroughly, great value for the $
Cons: i would redesign inside lid, more info on approx heat up times

great for an office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crockpot is just the cutest little thing ever! I don't have a microwave in my office so I typically bring in lunches like salads or cold cut sandwiches. This has changed up my lunch game since I've had it. I have been making homemade soups and chili's, and each night I fill the inner container and put it in the fridge with the lid on overnight. In the morning, I just grab the container, put it inside the outer heating portion, twist on the outer lid and toss it in my bag. Once at work, I plug it in and by lunch it's completely heated through and ready to eat.
The cleanup is easy as the inner container and lid are dishwasher safe. I also really like that the power cord is able to wrap around the base and is held in place. I have also had no issues with leaks occurring while in transit to work, which is a huge positive. Keep in mind, this is a food warmer and is not intended to actually cook something like chicken from raw, but it works great for its intended purpose. I look forward to continue using this in the future and plan to purchase as a gift for a family member during the holidays as well.
