I bought the crockpots for my fiancé and adult daughters and they love them and had co-workers comment how nice they are. They plug them in when they get to work and nice and hot come lunch.

I purchased9 of these. 8 were gifts and 1 was for me. I used mine for the first time earlier this week. It was very convenient. I put my chili in it the night before. The next morning, as I was on my way out the door, I put the metal container, that was in the fridge, popped it into my warmer, and left. When I arrived at work, I plugged it in next to my desk. I ate the chili 3 hours later. It was very warm. However, the top of the metal bowl had popped up, I assume from the heat. I could not get it to close, so I was very glad that I wasn’t heating this in a moving car to avoid spilling it. (Yes, my van has an electrical plug in it). Also, the lid of the warming crockpot (mine is red) doesn’t go on so smoothly. I have to mess with it in order for it to get into the grooves the right way and close tightly. This is not a big deal if you are not in a hurry. I am eager to see if the other people who received these as gifts also had trouble with these 2 lids. Aside from these 2 minor issues, I really like it!

I love this crock pot. It is great for avoiding people at work while still having a warm meal. My only concern is the lid can be hard to remove. I have yet to spill my soup but it still sticks.
